Since I do shiftwork on a relief basis, making an appointment to suit the surgery and myself could be very difficult. Because of the patience, understanding and flexibility of the reception staff it is in fact, very easy. I hear stories of dissatisfaction from other people using other surgeries regarding making appointments and the helpfulness of their doctors. Having been with the Dr Lynch and predecessors practice for more than 30 years, I have always been totally satisfied with my treatment by any doctor I have seen within the group. I cannot praise the work ethic of this practice too highly!

I would like to give Dr Lynch credit for being such a great GP. I have had reason to visit on a fairly regular basis, and he has managed to be encouraging at the same time as being objective. Many times I have arrived feeling terrible only to have left feeling so much more positive. Furthermore, he has been very supportive in discussing my sons condition when at times we have felt let down by consultants at the hospital, and have turned to him for answers and encouragement. Many thanks on behalf of our family!

My husband needed an urgent prescription and although it was late in the day the Receptionists were extremely , helpful and went out of their way to ensure he had his medication for the weekend. Thank you as always for your kindness, patience and understanding.

I have always found the administrative and medical staff friendly, approachable and very professional in all their contact with me. There are some delays in being seen by doctors and nurses but I strongly suspect these are due to medical staff listening to their patients and fully discussing symptoms and treatment. This can rarely be achieved, within the short time allowed between appointments, if the patient is to feel truly valued. I have recommended this practice to members of my family who have independently come to the same opinion. In conclusion I would add that it is better to be treated as a person and wait a while longer than just a number on an "assembly line" of patients.

I think the staff and receptionists are friendly and helpful. You can get an appointment quickly but not always with the doctor of your choice. For that you have to book a long way in advance.
